This set of guided notes with biology doodles can be little anchor charts for your student to keep in their notebook! Using these pages, students can color, doodle, and make connections within the material as they takes notes in class.

There are 3 student pages:

1. The first discusses the differences between linked and unlinked genes. Please note: there are no linked-gene problems in this set. I introduce the idea of linked genes but I don't have students solve problems with linked genes.

2. The second discusses Mendel's law of Independent Assortment, which is valid because Mendel only examined unlinked genes.

3. This page has a large Punnett Square for students to fill in while learning the material on page 2.
